I’m so looking forward to lightning bug season 🧚‍♂️. This is my second figure painting in acrylic. I’ve been trying to focus on the detail of the figure and keeping the background more loose… but this still feels a little uncomfortable to me since I’m so accustomed to focusing on the details 😑

I had to skip yesterday because the stomach bug hit my daughter right as I was getting myself set up to paint… and to watch the breaking news 🤮 She bounced back pretty quickly but we still spent the day quarantined. I’ve also been living in fear that I’ll be next.
Anyways while we were resting today I painted this. I’ve been playing a bit with white texture and I used a little here to add a little something to my sidewalk crack. Day 104/365 & 12/100
