This painting of Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) was painted for the #portraitchallenge_2019 for the “leader” prompt. RBG is the second female justice on the Supreme Court and champion of equal rights 💪🏼 .
Why the crown? Fans of RBG refer to her as the Notorious RBG. If you’re familiar with 90’s hip-hip then you’ll remember the legend, the Notorious B.I.G. There is a famous picture of him wearing a crown; that is where the crown comes from.
